Much like lions (or, more adorably, kitty cats), they will stalk their prey and often take an indirect route from which they sometimes can't even see their prey. This behavior is absolutely baffling to those who dedicate their lives to studying these magnificent little creatures, considering how small the jumping spider's brain is.
